The experimental module mod_so
is included in the distribution,
which allows you to load DSOs (Dynamic Shared Objects) under various
flavors of Unix at runtime -- rather like Win32 allows you to load
DLLs. At the moment this requires a fairly sophisticated
understanding of C and Unix and is liable to change without warning.
We recommend that anyone who is interested read the relevant sections
in .../src/Configuration and
.../htdocs/dso.h.
